GPIT Celebrates International Women’s Day by People and Organization

The event was expertly moderated by Manizeh Shahrin Sayeed from Strategy and Planning, P&O.For the first time ever GPIT celebrated International Women’s Day: Women Leadership, Inspiring Futures in grand style at North South University on 8th March, 2012. A host of prominent women were among the guests to inspire and motivate the ladies of GPIT. Along with the GPIT contingent were students from North South University as an initiative to inspire young minds. Participants received personalized flowers, books and gift vouchers for being part of this momentous occasion. The Muktijuddher Bijoy Mela Parishad is the organization formed with the collaboration of the gallant Freedom Fighters. At the cost of our audacious Freedom Fighters, the desert of East Pakistan was made fertile, and the nation comes with a flying colour overthrowing the tyrannical chains of enslavement instituted by the Pakistani Rulers. Grameenphone Jersey Utshob concluded

The jersey crafted by Shezan Linclon won the first prize at Jersey Utshab, a contest arranged by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and Grameenphone to get the best design for the jersey of National Cricket Team.
Winners were awarded in a gala event on December 4, 2010 held at a local hotel. Sourov Das Mithun was the first runner-up while Habibullah Emran ended as second runner-up. AHM Mustafa Kamal, President, BCB handed over the crest while Grameenphone CEO, Oddvar Hesjedal handed over the first prize check of BDT 300,000 to Shezan. Grameenphone CCO Kazi Monirul Kabir, BCB CEO, Manzur Ahmed, Shykh Seraj, Director and Head of News of Channel I and other senior officials of BCB and Grameenphone were present on the occasion.
